our new ratio in town, improved alot over the years since 2016.

    No debts.
Equity Ratio, we would like to see more in it in 2019.
ATO - This is lagging, need to see more, preferable its time it pushes over 1, had been under 1 for so long.

EBIT/EV - is so good. Tremendous improvement.
FCF - Its time they look after the shareholders.
P/CF - Highly worth to look at.

Nice work. Their earnings trends are solid & consistent. It will be same even in the next quarter (one reason is its business model) but price trend is currently under consolidation. It is a rare type of gem in the market. None of us has a crystal ball. A good analyst can calculate the stock’s intrinsic value by taking the forecast future cash flows of the company and discounting them back to today’s value. Your analysis saved my time. Cheers.

Any reason TAF takes longer to settle payables!
See below DPO (Days Payable Outstanding = 75Days)
Sales outstanding jumped from 26Days which is within 30days

IO. All major purchases are from GRAN. The rest are transacted through GRAN.

TAF is one of few shares that has defied downward pressure. The indication is still pointing upward possibility. hope this stays that way

We should expect a Div next two days going by history. Also none of conditions mentioned in prev Qtr. review now existing and IMO the price looks good as held at 90s even under current onslaught

Stable demand for Layer DOCs in the last quarter of the year after recovering from the volatile table egg market further strengthened the performance of the Group. The Group has been able to maintain its profitability throughout the year despite the increase in raw material cost and overheads caused mainly by depreciation of LKR against USD. ..---------------Unquote

                ; Rs stronger from 182- 177
Huge increase in Tourism (including migrant labor) should readily enlarge buying

                  By Jatila Karawita

Chairman of the All-Island Poultry Association (AIPA), Ajith Gunasekera said that due to the crippling blow suffered by the country’s hotel sector since the Easter Sunday attacks, the country’s poultry and egg industries had also been dealt a severe blow. Since the Easter Sunday attacks, the usual 50 per cent demand from hoteliers for chicken had been cancelled overnight. He said due to this reason alone, the economy of the suppliers of meat, eggs and other poultry products had suffered immensely. Due to the declining demand for chicken and eggs since 21/4 attack, they have been forced to kill off around 40 per cent of their hens. Gunasekera added that they had been forced to incur additional expenses for the maintenance of hens and the only viable solution was to get rid of them.

Gunasekera added that, suppliers who had obtained the first investment from the poultry industry in the first week of April, targeting the Sinhala-Hindu New Year, had hoped to obtain the second investment in the first week of May. And now due to the cancellations by hotels, the suppliers are now struggling to sell their second investment. He said chicken is not imported currently and averred that they will be forced to import chicken by August if no solution is found in the coming months. Due to the collapse of the poultry industry, the wholesale price of a hen had come down from Rs 70 to Rs 35, he said. “Around one million employees earning a livelihood from the industry are currently facing a severe economic strain.”

Gunasekera said that the AIPA would meet Minister of Agriculture, Rural Economic Affairs, Livestock Development, Irrigation and Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development P. Harrison shortly to discuss the situation facing the poultry industry.

Off season now and TAFL is a near zero debt company with Rs 80 cash per share.
Study the structure of operations and that will tell the main impact is cost of inputs and supply (not demand). Egg prices are up rather than down

TAFL's Product Mix on DOC Layer is around 10%. 90% is on Broiler DOC.

As for the the off season.Yes it is. However all producers have a major impact on sales. Hope and pray that trend will revers soon.

With a Quarter EPS of almost 10, assuming they make 4 times next 3 quarters, we will see EPS of 40 compared to 80Rs per share its PER will be 2 or 2 and half.

On a different note, EPS of 10+5+5+10 = 30EPS owing to disruptions in the 2Q, and possibly repeat performance in 3Q with pick up to come in the 4Q. TAF could be trading not more than 3PER.
So extremly discounted in my opinion.
